Hornslandet is a peninsula east of Hudiksvall with unique nature. It´s characteristic shingle fields and fire-shaped coustal pine forests make it a facinating area to explore.
At Hornslandet, visitors can enjoy hiking, cycling, fishing and swimming. And why not explore the bedrock caves or Sweden´s oldest pine tree? The area is rich in historical remains and attractions, making it a very popular destination throughout the year.
There are many hiking trails to explore, Hornslandet offers a total of 20-30 km of marked trails. In the southern part of the ecopark is Hölick Nature Reserve, with several attractions that are easy to reach along well-maintained trails. There´s also a guest harbor for those who want to stroll around and look at boats. On the nouthern part of the peninsula, you can hike up to Rikstensberget´s beautiful view of the sea.
Kuggören Fishing Village is also located on Hornslandet. A cozy old fishing village worth visiting, with both a chapel and stone labyrinth.
Near Hölicks fishing village, you will find Hölick Havsresort which offers camping, glamping tents, hotel cabins and luxurious designer houses. There is also a spa and restaurant.
